Made of specially spun Polypropylene (PP) material, Oil Absorbent Socks absorbs and blocks any hydrocarbon/oil flows efficiently. These socks are oleophilic-hydrophobic; does not absorb water and will only absorb oil. Sometimes known as Thin Booms, they have high retention and absorption characteristics and their shape are ideal for flat surfaces and to assist in small oil land spills clean-up efforts.
