It is widely supplied to refineries and crude oil plants as a replacement for Absorption Corp.’s 4"X10' W Mesh Booms. These absorbent marine booms are for oil spill containment in lakes, estuaries, and sea with very low wave height. Filled with either synthetic or natural cotton fibres, they have high retention and absorption characteristics on polluting oil. Single use item, to be disposed of by incineration or in accordance with regulatory authority guidelines as Scheduled Waste.
