It is capable of charging 14.4V, 18V and 36v slide style batteries. It's cooling feature helps to cool batteries during charging or before charging commences to prevent battery overheating ensuring extended battery life. Fan-cooled Smart Chargers work intelligently when charging batteries to ensure safe electrical transfer and a long service life – providing up to 1500 re-cycles on premium batteries. • Electronic circuitry on-board the charger communicates with the battery and monitors each individual cell during charging, preventing damage from overcharging or overheating • Electronically controlled fan ensures that no cell is harmed during the charging process • Advanced fan-cooling system allows the batteries to be charged quickly, reducing down-time • Suitable for charging ALL 18V 'slide' type Li-ion batteries
