3M E-4 Resin Pressure Gun

The 3M™ Resin Pressure System is comprised of several components used for constructing splices or splice jackets on medium voltage power cables for harsh environments. 3M™ Scotchcast™ Electrical Insulating Resin 4 is a key component of the system, which can be used as the primary insulation for shielded and non-shielded splices rated up to 8 kV. The system is also available as a resin-jacketed tapesplice (TapeCast™) rated up to 25 kV. The resin is a two-part epoxy, packaged in a special Unipak container that provides the exact mixing ratio for making a strong, dependable and long-lasting splice or splice jacket. The versatile resin system accommodates a variety of splice configurations and cables.
