3M™ Scotchcast™ MR408 resin is a black, semi rigid, two-part polyurethane infill compound. The system has low viscosity and exhibits good adhesion to plastic, XLPE, PVC, nylon and all types of metals. Once cured the resin exhibits durability and impact resistance and provides excellent protection against moisture, salt, oil and many types of chemicals. Application For the encapsulation of all types of cable joints, power cables, telecommunications and fibre optic cables, with copper or aluminium conductors. Features Certified to CENELEC HD 631.1 S2 standard with LMP-W and MMP-W classifications. Low exothermic reaction temperature.
