It is perfectly suited to softer metals as it contains a less abrasive polishing action than the regular Autosol Metal Polish. Anodized Aluminium vs Non-Anodized Aluminium The fundamental difference between anodized aluminium and non-anodized aluminium is that the former has a layer of oxide over the surface, whereas the latter does not. From a practical standpoint, anodized aluminium offers several benefits. The main benefit of anodized aluminium is greater protection from corrosion. Aluminium, whether anodized or not, isn’t susceptible to rust. Even when left outdoors under the rain, aluminium will never rust because it doesn’t contain any iron.
