Denso Tape 50mm WIDE 10m ROLL Denso Tape is a type of anti-corrosion protective tape used primarily in the oil, gas, water, and marine industries to protect metal surfaces, especially pipelines, from corrosion and moisture ingress. It is known for its excellent adhesion, durability, and water resistance. 🔧 Main Features of Denso Tape: Composition: Made from a non-woven synthetic fabric impregnated with a petrolatum compound (grease-like substance). Sometimes enhanced with mineral fillers, corrosion inhibitors, and inert polymers. Corrosion Protection: Forms an airtight and watertight seal. Acts as a barrier against oxygen, moisture, and salt, which are the main causes of corrosion. Surface Tolerance: Can be applied directly onto dirty, rusty, or wet metal surfaces (though minimal cleaning is still recommended). No need for blasting or heavy surface preparation. Flexibility: Highly flexible and conformable, allowing it to be wrapped around irregular shapes, joints, flanges, and fittings. Temperature Resistance: Generally used in moderate temperature ranges (up to ~55–60°C). High-temperature versions are available.
