MINI BANANA PLUG (BLACK) The MINI BANANA PLUG from Pomona (Part Number 2945-0) features precise dimensional tolerances with .xx dimensions held to ±.02" (.51 mm) and .xxx dimensions maintained at ±.005" (.127 mm). The cross hole measures .082" (2.09mm) diameter and incorporates a #3-56 slotted set screw for secure lead wire retention. Electrical ratings include a maximum operating voltage of 2500 Vrms for hands-free usage in controlled environments and a current rating of 5 Amperes. The operational temperature range extends to +122°F (+50°C) maximum. The miniature banana jack and plug body are constructed from brass per QQ-B-626, Alloy 360 in ½ Hard condition. The spring component utilizes beryllium copper per QQ-C-533, Alloy 172, Condition H.T. All metallic surfaces feature gold plating per MIL-G-45204, Type II, Class 00 over electroless nickel per MIL-C-26074, Class 1, with thickness ranging from .0002" to .0003". Insulation is provided by ABS molding directly applied to both the banana jack and plug body components.
