Jotun Barrier 80 zinc epoxy primer Paint Barrier is an 80% zinc epoxy primer for highly corrosive environments. Barrier contains very high levels of zinc dust and provides very good corrosion protection when used as part of a complete coating system where extended durability is required. It is ideal as a primer in atmospheric environments, and can be used on carbon steel, for repair of inorganic zinc silicate coatings and on damaged galvanised steel substrates. Barrier complies with ASTM D520 type II zinc dust. It is recommended for offshore environments, refineries, power plants, bridges, buildings and on structural steel and piping exposed in corrosivity categories up to CX (ISO 12944-2).
